Kim Beddall followed the whales she was studying to the Dominican Republic more than 30 years ago, and never left. She is the owner of Whale Samana and introduced ecotourism to the Samana region. Project Samana depends on Kim to identify the people, animals and site logistics for all small and large animal surgeries.
